First time going this morning. Maaaaaan that food was awesome!! I got cornbeef hash, grits,and eggs. Oh and fried potatoes that was so yummy my god! Definitely going back. Service and workers were very nice.
Can't beat it for the price! Delicious and freshly made. Definitely be prepared as they are cash only. I was extremely happy with my burger and okra. The okra was fresh and the burger was well cooked. They guests I came with enjoyed their food as well. I will return if I'm in the area again, it's definitely worth a stop!
Such a hidden gem! Skip the big franchise restaurants and fine to this amazing place! Hamburgers we're good and big... Well, actually, everything was so good! We have 7 and we're so lucky the big table for us opened up and Laurie was our amazing server; she was welcoming and fun from the moment we walked in! Highly recommend!
S&L has been a Lakeland tradition for over forty years. You can get a great cheeseburger and fries for under $10. The burgers are fresh of the grill and made to order. You can call ahead and pick up your order, too. The service is very friendly.
The food was great. Large portions and tasty. Very busy. If you have time restrictions, call ahead. It's worth the wait. Small spot, cool decorations, and parking is few. You won't regret stopping in. Breaking lunch.
I’m so glad to find this place still right where I left it almost 40 years ago with the same owner and the same awesome food, atmosphere, and people, it’s far from where I live but when I come to south Lakeland to make a delivery I make sure to add them to my itinerary. Love you guys OG 🙂 …

The first time, we ordered and picked up and was DELICIOUS 😋 a Provolone Smash Burger and Turkey Bacon club. They were full, but the service was excellent. We definitely will try more of the menu. They are cash only, and we ran to an ATM 🤦♀️
This is a local restaurant I pass by during my travels. My god this breakfast meal I had was delicious. I'm sorry but this local restaurant puts IHOP to shame. It tastes natural and fills my belly. I haven't tried lunch yet but I'll get to it. Give this place a try and it's budget friendly. Unlike the greedy corporation chain. And the staff are very professional and kind. (Also beware, if you decide to dine-in the lunch or breakfast rush there might be a wait.)
